What usually goes wrong

Cleaning and disinfection resources for Texas facilities

Four failures I find in almost every building.

None of these are about the staff working harder. They're about the product, the ratio and the clock. Fixing them usually costs less than what a facility is already spending.

01

Bleach degrades faster than the shift

A bucket mixed at 7am is doing much less by lunch. It's also caustic on the surfaces it's poured over, and on the hands of the person pouring it. Why we moved off bleach →

02

Dwell time gets wiped away

Spray, wipe, move on — and the label kill claim never happened. The surface has to stay visibly wet for the full contact time. That number is on every product page here, in a size you can read across a room.

03

Sanitizing is not disinfecting

They are different EPA claims with different contact times, and licensing rules ask for the right one in the right place. A food table and a diaper pad are not the same job. The difference, in one page →

04

The dilution is guessed

Too strong wastes money and leaves residue. Too weak fails the claim and the inspection. Every concentrate here ships with a wall chart and a yield calculator so nobody is estimating with a glug.
