What it's for

DYNASTY MICRO BC is a bacterial digestant, not a fragrance. You pour it in a drain or spray it on a surface, and the bacteria break the organic waste down into carbon dioxide and water. That takes time — it is not an instant fix — but it addresses the source rather than the symptom. Down a drain line it keeps grease and organic buildup from accumulating and going anaerobic, which is what a chronically smelly floor drain actually is. On a surface it goes after urine, vomit and food residue that has soaked into grout, terrazzo, carpet or a rug where a mop cannot reach it.

NOTE DYNASTY MICRO BC works by adding live bacteria, not killing them — it biologically digests organic waste into carbon dioxide and water, which removes the material generating the odor. It carries no registration, no organism list, no contact time and no kill claim on any source document.

How to use it

Dwell time — the number that matters

No contact time in the disinfectant sense. On carpets, keep the treated area moist for at least 24 hours.

The relevant number is moisture time, not wet-dwell for a kill claim: the bacteria have to stay wet to stay active. For severe carpet odors, repeat the treatment daily for up to 10 days. Disinfect a surface first if it needs disinfecting, let it dry, then apply MICRO BC — a disinfectant residue will kill the culture you just applied.

Dilution
Undiluted

Drain lines, disposals and grease traps — 3 to 4 ounces of DYNASTY MICRO B.C. every day in each line

1 to 1 with water

Surface odors — urinal surfaces, bathroom floors, terrazzo, grout. Spray a heavy mist to wet the surface

1 to 1 with water

Carpets, rugs and upholstery — then keep the area moist for at least 24 hours

Directions

Drains, disposals and grease traps —

1. Pour 3 to 4 ounces of undiluted DYNASTY MICRO BC into each drain line.

2. Do this every day, in every line you are treating.

3. Apply at the end of the day or during the slowest period so the product sits in the line instead of being flushed straight through.

Surfaces — urinal surfaces, bathroom floors, terrazzo, grout —

4. Dilute 1 part product to 1 part water.

5. Spray a heavy mist to wet the surface.

6. Let it work. Do not rinse it off.

Carpets, rugs and upholstery —

7. Dilute 1 part product to 1 part water.

8. Apply enough to reach the soiled depth, not just the face fiber — the residue causing the odor is usually below the surface.

9. Keep the area moist for at least 24 hours.

10. For severe odors, repeat daily for up to 10 days.

△ What not to use it on
  • As a disinfectant or sanitizer — it carries no kill claims and satisfies no sanitizing requirement
  • Over a surface that still holds disinfectant residue — the residue kills the culture
  • Do not apply and then rinse — the bacteria need to stay in place and stay moist
  • Do not store where it can get hot or freeze; extreme heat or freezing is a risk to any live culture
  • Disinfectants
  • Sanitizers
  • Bleach
  • Quat cleaners

Questions directors ask

It is not a disinfectant and carries no registration, so it does not count toward any disinfection or sanitizing requirement. Inspectors look at your registered disinfectant for that. MICRO BC sits alongside it as odor and drain maintenance. Keep the SDS on file with the rest of your chemicals — the SDS classifies it as "Not classified," which is about as benign as a chemical SDS gets.
