What it's for

ORACLE 1 is a one-step product. You clean the surface and you disinfect it with the same pass, using the same liquid, straight out of the bottle. There is nothing to mix. The label contact time is one minute, which is short enough that a staff member can wipe a room and the surfaces are done before they finish it. It is fragrance-free and contains no bleach, so it will not leave an odor in an occupied space or take the color out of a chair. The active is ethyl alcohol at 72.50% plus a quat (didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride) at 0.33% — that alcohol content is why it dries fast, and it is also why it is flammable.

NOTE All claims are transcribed from the registered 32 oz quart label. Every organism on this label carries the same one-minute contact time and the product is applied ready-to-use, so there is no dilution step.
NOTE Label wording: "Treated surface must remain visibly wet for one minute to achieve complete disinfection of all pathogens listed on this label."
NOTE Every organism claim must be checked against the current registered label word for word before this page goes live.

How to use it

Dwell time — the number that matters
1 minute

The label is specific about what that means — "Treated surface must remain visibly wet for one minute to achieve complete disinfection of all pathogens listed on this label." If the surface dries before the minute is up, apply more product. Do not wipe it dry early.

Directions

1. Read the label. It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

2. Clean: wet the surface sufficiently and clean with a mop, sponge, cloth, nonwoven wipe or other suitable cleaning instrument.

3. Disinfect: thoroughly wet the hard, non-porous surface to be treated.

4. Keep the surface visibly wet for one full minute.

5. If the surface is visibly soiled, clean it first, then repeat the disinfecting step.

6. Allow the surface to air dry.
